This is a dry fit of the Intimidator 5.  Again, we have my trusty assistant on the right, now age 10 (gasp!)  Gives you a bit of scale for the current project.  Oh, and yes, that is me on the left...

  1. When is the expected completion/launch for this rocket? Also - by the time your done, how many hours do you think you'll have into building it?

    1. Can't answer either question. The project is evolving as it goes. My goal is to make it nearly perfect, which is probably a dumb goal, but whatever. I'm sort of rethinking each step as I get to it, re-evaluating and then deciding what should work best. So it'll take awhile. If I just wanted to glue it together and launch it, I'm sure I could get that done a in a couple of weeks. But I want this to be not only clean and well thought out, but also well executed. I'm enjoying the build, and really not to concerned about getting it done.

    2. Looks good and, sounds like you are thinking through everything like you should, weighing out each decision. Reliability and safety are the most important things to keep in mind. Perfect is not a bad goal, let's hope you mail it!
